{"id":19314,"date":"2026-05-18T09:51:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T07:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitlido.it\/accessibility\/"},"modified":"2026-05-18T10:47:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T08:47:18","slug":"accessibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.visitlido.it\/en\/accessibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Accessibility Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Our commitment<\/h2>\n<p>Consorzio Venezia e il suo Lido considers the accessibility of its website an essential value: making information about the Lido di Venezia, tourist services and booking tools usable by as many people as possible, regardless of individual abilities or the tools used to browse.<\/p>\n<p>The website <a href=\"https:\/\/visitlido.it\">visitlido.it<\/a> and the booking services available in the <code>\/tosc\/<\/code> section are designed and developed with the goal of complying with the <strong>Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA<\/strong>, the international reference standard for web content accessibility, and the European harmonised standard <strong>EN&nbsp;301&nbsp;549<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Principles we apply<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Perceivability<\/strong>: content available through different sensory channels, with text alternatives for meaningful images, adequate colour contrast and text that remains readable when enlarged.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Operability<\/strong>: full keyboard navigation, visible focus on interactive elements, adequate interaction times, and absence of content that may cause physical reactions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Understandability<\/strong>: clear text, predictable page structure, comprehensible instructions and error messages in forms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Robustness<\/strong>: semantic markup compliant with standards and compatibility with current assistive technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>European Accessibility Act<\/h2>\n<p>From <strong>28 June 2025<\/strong>, the <em>European Accessibility Act<\/em> (Directive EU 2019\/882), transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, extends digital accessibility obligations to economic operators that offer products and services to the public through digital channels, with the exception of microenterprises.<\/p>\n<p>Consorzio Venezia e il suo Lido, as an operator of tourist and online booking services, is subject to the provisions of the Decree and has started a path of progressive adaptation of the website.<\/p>\n<h2>Compliance status<\/h2>\n<p>The website is currently <strong>partially compliant<\/strong> with the requirements of WCAG&nbsp;2.2 AA \/ EN&nbsp;301&nbsp;549. Adjustments are in progress on some sections of the site, in particular on booking forms, some multimedia components and part of the attached documents.
