At the Tempio Votivo, the exhibition “Communicating War in Venice. Voices to Mobilize, Reassure, Resist”

Events

“Communicating War in Venice. Voices to Mobilize, Reassure, Resist” was inaugurated a few days ago in the Crypt of the Temple.

Consisting of ten educational panels, it will remain open until September 30 during the Sacrarium’s regular opening hours (Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 am–12:00 pm and 12:30 pm–4:00 pm). The exhibition was made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Defence and the Rectorate of the Church of St. Maria Elisabetta. We sought to distill, in a few steps, the meaning of this “common good” and what it can still represent today. An excellent start to the season, also following the restoration of the crypt’s alabaster windows, carried out in 2024 by the Ministry of Defence.
