Enzo Mauri’s personal exhibition at Villa Pannonia

At Villa Pannonia, the personal exhibition of Enzo Mauri takes place on the occasion of the Biennale Architettura
The artist draws inspiration from the many photographs he takes daily in the surroundings of his home in the centre of Rome. The images in his paintings—carefully sketched, then painted and coloured—appear like snapshots that freeze a moving scene, capturing a vivid tale of urban life.
His pictorial technique is usually smooth and refined, with brushstrokes barely visible. Only in some works does the artist apply thicker pigment to highlight specific details within the image. Mauri has received numerous awards throughout his career, the most recent being the International Prize “Comunicare con l’Europa”, presented by the Menotti Art Festival Spoleto in collaboration with Accademia Auge and the European Training Institute at the European Parliament headquarters in Rome.
You can visit the exhibition at Villa Pannonia from 23 May to 14 June. The opening will be held on Friday, 23 May at 5:00 PM.
