Major events in Venice in 2023: a way to discover Lido

In 2023 there will be many opportunities to visit Venice Lido, taking advantage of the numerous events scheduled in the lagoon city.

 

The traditional and unmissable Venice Carnival opens the year from February 4th to February 21st, followed in spring by the Biennale Architecture opening, which can be visited till November 26th in just a couple of vaporetto stops from the Lido.

 

The perfect opportunity to discover the island in spring is on May 21st for the traditional Festa della Sensa with its “Marriage of the Sea”, a unique event that culminates in the San Niccolò area in Lido and the church of the same name.

 

And let’s not forget the most glamorous event of the year, the Venice International Film Festival, which brings to Lido movies and stars from all over the world, and this year it is planned from August 30th to September 9th.
