Venice Boat Show 2026: maritime excellence returns to the Arsenale
From 27 to 31 May 2026, Venice celebrates international boating amid innovation, design and sustainability in the timeless setting of the Arsenale.
The Venice Boat Show 2026 returns to the waters of the lagoon from 27 to 31 May, bringing back to the Arsenale one of the most anticipated and authoritative events on the international boating calendar. An event that blends tradition and the future, technology and vision, finding its most natural and evocative setting in the historic heart of the amphibious city, where for centuries the Serenissima built its maritime dominance.
The Arsenale of Venice once again proves to be the ideal stage for showcasing the jewels of the sea and the excellence of international shipbuilding, thanks to a water basin covering 55,000 square metres, over 1,100 linear metres of moorings, and 30,000 square metres of exhibition spaces spread across outdoor areas and the historic Tese. These spaces engage in a harmonious dialogue with the boats and the most advanced solutions in the sector. Within this unique context, the Venice Boat Show 2026 presents itself as an immersive experience, capable of engaging professionals, enthusiasts and families alike in a journey that goes far beyond a traditional exhibition.
A strong focus is placed on environmental sustainability, now essential for the future of the sea and the lagoon, with particular attention given to new electric, hybrid and hydrogen propulsion systems, low-impact technologies and research applied to responsible navigation. Alongside cutting-edge innovation, traditional lagoon boatbuilding also finds its place, representing a true hallmark of Venice and a heritage of skills, materials and forms capable of dialoguing with contemporary design.
The Venice Boat Show 2026 is also a place for meeting and storytelling, enlivened by conferences, presentations and thematic congresses exploring key topics in boating, from the evolution of materials to the relationship between the sea, sport and culture. The E-Village dedicated to electric boats, home to the E-Regatta, is complemented by on-water trials, trophies and sporting regattas, creating a dynamic balance between spectacle, experimentation and competition. Artistic exhibitions, installations, guided tours and educational activities designed to introduce even the youngest visitors to the world of the sea further transform the event into an open and inclusive experience.
Completing the experience is a curated selection of stands dedicated to design, technology, marine furnishings and craftsmanship, together with food and beverage areas showcasing Venetian specialities, bars and merchandising spaces. All contribute to making the Venice Boat Show 2026 a true sensory journey, where elegance intertwines with innovation and the city’s identity.
Figures from the most recent edition highlight steady growth and an increasingly international outlook, with over 30,000 visitors, 300 boats and 270 exhibitors animating the docks of the Arsenale, confirming a growing desire to take to the sea and imagine new routes for the boating of the future. The 2026 edition therefore promises to be even more ambitious, strengthening Venice’s role as a global reference point for those who view the sea as passion, culture and responsibility.
