Summer 2023 at Venice Lido


An agenda full of events, from music to cinema to sport

For those who will spend the summer holidays on our island, the range of events in Lido and in Venice is truly remarkable. From concerts and music festivals to the most loved events by Venetians, let’s see what not to miss this summer.


Nuadalonga, 11th June
Venice Open Water – Nuadalonga is a swimming competition divided into three categories and open to amateurs and professionals, that starts from the BlueMoon beach resort on Venice Lido.

From 9th to 11th June, in conjunction with the event Nuadalonga, the event “Play the games” will return to the Lido in occasion of the Special Olympics Italy 2023. The event will involve 500 athletes with intellectual disabilities from all over Italy who will compete in the following disciplines: rowing, rowing, karate, open water swimming and tennis.


Laura Pausini, concert in San Marco, June30th, July 1st and 2nd
Loved all over the world, with her thirty-year long career, 75 million copies sold and international awards including a Grammy Award and an Oscar nomination, Laura Pausini will perform for three tour dates in Piazza San Marco, five years after her last concert.
An unmissable opportunity just a few vaporetto stops from Venice Lido.

Redentore, July 15th
Redentore, the “very famous night” which commemorates the end of the plague in the sixteenth century, is undoubtedly one of the most loved festivals by the Venetians. During the second weekend of July, a pontoon bridge is erected over the Giudecca canal, and on the night between Saturday and Sunday, incredible fireworks can also be admired in front of the lagoon in Venice Lido.


Biennale Cinema, August 30th – September 9th
This year the Venice Film Festival celebrates its 80th anniversary, and it will once again set the Lungomare Marconi on fire with its star-studded red carpet and it will excite cinema enthusiasts with its large program of film premieres.
