In 1996 it was taken over by Riccardo, a Tuscan chef who has been part of the Italian Federation of Chefs for years, and Adriana, a Venetian chef in several hotels and restaurants. Riccardo and Adriana have been able to combine passion and quality and pass them to their son Ottavio, who took over the restaurant after renewal in 2009.
With Ottavio, expert sommelier (best sommelier in Italy in 2014 A.I.S.), La Tavernetta has become even more popular and the care for the cuisine is now combined with the perfect wine pairing. The main goal remains to make customers feel at home.
